Zello Net on the Columbia Repeater
Welcome to the Hobby Hill GMRS Zello net!
Recent clarification by the FCC on connecting GMRS stations or repeaters have led to the creation of separate nets for Zello and RF. Our Zello gateway has been shut down, and is no longer able to connect users from around the country on our local repeater.
We have moved the Zello net to 6:30 PM, on Tuesday nights, on the Hobbyhillgmrsrepeater Zello channel. There is no password, but new users must be trusted in with a valid GMRS license. If you add the channel, just ask for a moderator to trust you in. Once your call-sign is verified, you will be added. There are several moderators, but sometimes we just can't hear you because we may be away from the app. You will be trusted in as soon as possible, please be patient!
Our Hobby Hill GMRS NRW net on the Hobby Hill repeater is still at 7:30pm, tuesdays. Thanks to all members regularly checking in, and our purpose remains the same on both nets. To practice radio etiquette and handle radio traffic, and to improve our skills in case of an emergency. 73’s.
