Join Our Team of GMRS Radio Operators
As a GMRS Radio Operator for the Old Mill Run Safety Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining communication and coordination among the team members located along the event rout to monitor and relay information about participants progress and provide any emergency communications. Your quick and clear communication through GMRS and Amateur radios will be essential in ensuring timely responses to any incidents that may occur during this event. Whether it’s reporting suspicious activity, coordinating with local law enforcement, or providing updates about participants, your role as a Radio Operator will be crucial in keeping the Old Mill Run safe.
Training and support will be provided to all GMRS Radio Operators who participate with the TCARES (Tuolumne County Radio and Electronics Society) team. Whether you are a seasoned radio operator or new to the world of GMRS radios, we will ensure that you have the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively communicate and navigate the radio channels. By joining the TCARES team, you will not only contribute to the safety of our neighborhood but also gain valuable experience in radio communication and emergency response protocols.
