Recommended GMRS Starter Radios

Not just a walkie Talkie.
An HT, or handy talkie, can easily reach up to 25 miles.
With repeater capability your HT can harness 25 or even 50 watts!.

Recommended GMRS Starter Radios

If you are looking to get your first radio here are three options to consider, I purchased the first two. Whatever radios you deicide on, ask someone in your group, or here on this forum, to help program them for our local repeaters. They come preprogramed but you will want to add our local repeaters.

BAOFENG GM-15 Pro GMRS Radio, NOAA Weather Receiver & Scan Radio Rechargeable Long Range Two Way Radio Handheld Radios with USB-C Charger AR-771, $51.99 for a pair.
