The program is pretty straight forward if you have basic computer skills. You will need the programing cable (I use the same one for my Baofeng radios).

Procedure
- Start by downloading the software, open the program, connect your cable to radio and PC, turn on radio.
- Then, from the menu bar; >> Communication Port (choose the port programing cable is connected to) >> OK
- Next, from the menu bar; >> Program >> Read from radio.
- Next, from the menu bar; >>File >> Save (give file a name and location to save to) >> Save.
- Next; from the menu bar; >> File >> Open >> Select the new file you just saved and you will see what was pre programed into your radio.
- I like to save a copy of original data for backup. From the menu bar; >> File >> Save As (give it a new name) >> Save >>
- Modify new copy; RX Freq, TX Freq, Name, PL offset, power level and scanning as needed and save
- Then; from the menu bar; >> Program >> Write to radio. Presto! Test your radio and make changes if needed.
