New Repeater for Cedar Ridge.

This Group is open to all members upon request, and has a focus on Net Control Stations, Roll call participants and the use of FRS, GMRS and Ham radios during emergency events associated with power and communication blackouts. You do not need to be a Ham radio Operator to join this group. To join, go to your User Control Panel; >> UCP >> Usergroups. Check the appropriate box and submit.

New Repeater for Cedar Ridge.

There will be a new GMRS repeater installed in the Cedar Ridge area very soon. A new group is forming that will need a NC that has an amateur license for relaying emergency traffic. The NC position is an essential part of the emergency preparedness team for Cedar Ridge. If you are at all interested in the importance of this topic please contribute to this post.
